Caoimhe is our General dentist at Burlington Dental Clinic and has a wealth of experience treating both adults and children.
Caoimhe qualified as a dentist in 1993 from Trinity College Dublin. She was a Dental Council prize winner for her first class honours exam results. She started her professional career at the Dublin Dental Hospital as a House Surgeon and then subsequently with a Senior House Officer role gaining invaluable experience in all aspects of dentistry.
Following a short stint as a dentist in Australia, Caoimhe worked for the HSE for five years. During this time Caoimhe developed a real passion for children’s dentistry and preventative dentistry. She studied at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and gained her post-graduate Fellowship in Dental Science.
Caoimhe then moved to London and worked in general practice for 15 years. While in London she further enhanced her qualifications and studied at the prestigious Eastman Dental Institute, University College London gaining a distinction in her Certificate in Paediatric Dentistry. This gave Caoimhe the skills required to treat the younger members of the family with great confidence.
Caoimhe returned to Dublin in 2017 and she teaches the undergraduate dental students in Trinity College as well as treating patients at Burlington Dental Clinic. She is passionate about continuing dental education and regularly attends dental lectures and conferences to keep up to date. She is an active member of the Irish Dental Association.
Caoimhe will put you at ease on your first visit. She is a calm and caring dental practitioner and takes pride in providing high quality dentistry to all members of the family. Caoimhe has 3 school going children and in her spare time enjoys pilates, tennis and gardening.
