Veneers
Often described as “false nails for teeth”! They resurface the front surface of the tooth and can be used to correct discoloured teeth and teeth which aren’t so badly damaged, misshapen or badly positioned that they need a crown. There is usually some tooth material removed from the tooth in preparation, how much depends on the reason for the veneer and there are some which require no removal of tooth material at all although this is rare.
