Burlington Road
By Car:
From City Centre:
From O’Connell Street Bridge, cross over to D’Olier Street. Go around Trinity College (College Street), follow Grafton Street Lower to Nassau Street – with Trinity on your left – continue on to pass The National Gallery of Ireland on your right hand side. Keep going straight, you’ll be passing Merrion Square. At the end of Merrion Square, take a right, turning into Merrion Square East. Keep going straight, cross over the intersection onto Lower Fitzwilliam Street. You’ll now be nearing a large 4-way traffic intersection. Here turn left into Baggot Street Lower. Keep going straight and soon you should be crossing over Baggot Street Bridge. Continue straight ahead, passing Baggot Street Hospital on your left. At the next traffic light, turn right into Waterloo Road.
Drive on until you reach the next traffic light, here take a right. You are now in Burlington Road. You’ll see that Burlington Road forks to the left and right, continue on the left leg and you’ll find No. 16 on the left hand side of the road, about 5 houses from The Dublin Institute for Advances Studies (on the corner of Burlington Road as the road forks), the Georgian house with the yellow door.
For Parking: There is disc parking available on the street, with disc machines located on either side of the road. Please be aware of when your time is up as the clampers keep a keen eye on our street!
NB: Please note that the College Green Bus Corridor is closed to private vehicles Monday – Friday from 7am to 10am and from 4pm to 7pm. Between these hours it may be wise to avail of public transport or take another route.
From the M50:
South bound on the M50, take junction 11, and exit onto Tallaght Road (N81). Continue on for a few kilometers on Templeogue Road until you come to the 4-way junction of Terenure. Keep left and turn into Terenure Road North. Go through Harold’s Cross and when you come to the Canal, turn right onto Grove Road. Follow the road straight and cross over Leeson Street Bridge. Just across this bridge, take the very next right turn. This will take you past the Burlington Hotel on your left. At the next traffic lights immediately after the hotel take a left, turning into Burlington Road. We are situated on the right hand side, about halfway down the road.

From the N11:
(South of Ireland – Waterford, Wexford, Wicklow etc)
Follow the N11 through to Stillorgan Road, Donnybrook Road, and Morehampton Road. At the intersection for Waterloo Road, turn right onto Waterloo Road.
Continue to the next traffic light to take the left into Burlington Road. You’ll see that Burlington Road forks to the left and right, continue on the left leg and you’ll find No. 16 on the left hand side of the road, about 5 houses from The Dublin Institute for Advances Studies (on the corner of Burlington Road as the road forks), the Georgian house with the yellow door.

From Ballsbridge:
From Blackrock, carry on straight on Rock Road, pass the RDS, then the American Embassy (both on your left) At the next 4-way traffic intersection (with the previously named Jury’s Hotel on your right), take the exit to your left just as you are coming up the intersection onto Pembroke Road. Continue straight. On your left you’ll pass The Lansdowne Hotel. After the hotel, take the next left at the traffic light, turning onto Waterloo Road. Drive on until you reach the next traffic light, here take a right. You are now in Burlington Road. You’ll see that Burlington Road forks to the left and right, continue on the left leg and you’ll find No. 16 on the left hand side of the road, about 5 houses from The Dublin Institute for Advances Studies (on the corner of Burlington Road as the road forks), the Georgian house with the yellow door.

Grand Canal Dock Station:
As you come down the stairs outside the station, turn right to get to Grand Canal Upper Street. Again turn right on Grand Canal Road, crossing over to the opposite side of the road. On the bridge, take a left and walk along the canal to the next intersection. Cross over this intersection. Carry on to the next small road to your left and take this left. At the end of this little road, turn right on Haddington Road. Walk along this street until you come to Baggot Street Bridge. Cross over this busy intersection, walk straight ahead, passing Mespil Hotel on your left, take the left road at the Mespil Hotel. You are now in Burlington Road. Follow the road around to the right (the road forks here, keep to the right.) No. 16 is on the left hand side; look out for the Georgian house with the yellow door.
Lansdowne Road Station:
Outside the station, opposite you’ll see the Aviva Stadium. Turn left onto Lansdowne Road. You may need to cross the tracks, only do so when the barriers are down.
Cross over the next intersection you get you. Walk past the D4 Hotels (previously known as The Berkley Court and Jury’s Inn). You will find a taxi rank here should you
decide to catch a cab. Walking, cross over the busy intersection at the taxi rank. This will bring you onto Pembroke Road. Keep to the left of Pembroke Road. You’ll pass until you reach the next traffic light, here take a right. You are now in Burlington Road. You’ll see that Burlington Road forks to the left and right, continue on the left leg and you’ll find No. 16 on the left hand side of the road, about 5 houses from The Dublin Institute for Advances Studies (on the corner of Burlington Road as the road forks), the Georgian house with the yellow door.
From both these stations it’s approximately a 20 minute easy walk.

From the City Centre:
From O’Connell Street Bridge, drive along the quays (westbound – towards Heuston Station)
and follow signs for The West / N4 / M50.
Take the exit for the N4 and when on the N4 move to left hand lane and follow signs for Liffey Valley Shopping Centre (this will be the first exit off the N4 – opposite The Deadman’s Inn). Stay on the right side of the slip road.
At the end of the slip road you will arrive at the first roundabout. Take the 3rd exit off this roundabout (i.e going right, around the roundabout and taking you underneath the motorway). Take the next left off the roundabout and gain access to the facility by taking a left at the next entrance. At the next roundabout, take the second exit (left – please not that the first left exit is a NO ENTRY). You are now coming up to the entrance of The Hermitage Medical Clinic to the left.
From North Dublin (Blanchardstown, Castleknock etc.):
Take the M50 southbound. Drive through the ‘barrier-free’ toll (up to €3 for unregistered cars) and take next exit (Exit 7) for N4 / Sligo / The West / Lucan.
Take the exit for the N4 and when on the N4 move to left hand lane and follow signs for Liffey Valley Shopping Centre (this will be the first exit off the N4 – opposite The Deadman’s Inn). Stay on the right side of the slip road. ). Take the next left off the roundabout and gain access to the facility by taking a left at the next entrance. At the next roundabout, take the second exit (left – please not that the first left exit is a NO ENTRY). You are now coming up to the entrance of The Hermitage Medical Clinic to the left.
From the South Dublin (e.g Dundrum, Balinteer, Sandyford etc)
Take the M50 Northbound. Take exit 7 for the N4 and when on the N4 (signposted The West) and move to left hand lane and follow signs for Liffey Valley Shopping Centre (this will be the first exit off the N4 – opposite The Deadman’s Inn). Stay on the right side of the slip road. ). Take the next left off the roundabout and gain access to the facility by taking a left at the next entrance. At the next roundabout, take the second exit (left – please not that the first left exit is a NO ENTRY). You are now coming up to the entrance of The Hermitage Medical Clinic to the left.
From the Red Cow Roundabout:
Take the M50 exit – Northbound (Airport exit also).
Take the first exit off the M50 Motorway, the N4 exit (signposted The
West). Keep to the left side of the exit and follow signs for Liffey Valley Shopping Centre (this will be the first exit off the N4 – opposite The Deadman’s Inn). Stay on the right side of the slip road. ). Take the next left off the roundabout and gain access to the facility by taking a left at the next entrance. At the next roundabout, take the second exit (left – please not that the first left exit is a NO ENTRY). You are now coming up to the entrance of The Hermitage Medical Clinic to the left.
From the West (Mullingar, Maynooth, Lucan etc):
Following the N4, heading for Dublin:
Pass Lucan, take exit for Liffey Valley Shopping Centre which is just after Hermitage Golf Club.
Take a left at the lights at the bottom of this exit and follow the road around to Hermitage Medical Clinic.
We are in Suite 26, located on the first floor.
Parking is charged at €2 per hour, machines are located inside the main lobby of the Clinic.

Please note The nearest bus stop to the Hermitage from the city centre is the Liffey Valley Shopping Centre stop. Please take the footbridge to the other side of the road and turn left. The entrance to the Hermitage is approx 800m down this road.
