Many children will only need a caring approach and gentle introduction to the dental setting in order to cope with treatment. Certain challenging procedures or very young or anxious children may require a different approach to their dental treatment including the need for nitrous oxide inhalation sedation (‘happy air’) or a day case general anaesthetic.  We will discuss all these options in detail before a plan is decided upon.

Both of these options are carried out in the hospital setting of The Hermitage Medical Clinic.
